Logo Design, Brand Identity

I was approached to design a new logo and visual identity for the college of engineering at Afe Babalola University as part of a renovation project.

The Challenge

There are nine departments within the College of Engineering at ABUAD. I went over several versions of the icon in order to visually represent each department, and still have a good-looking logomark that reflects the spirit of engineering, innovation, and collaboration.

The Outcome

The new visual identity received widespread praise for its ability to represent all departments, fostering pride and belonging within students, management, and alumni alike.
